The horses in the trailer are Rejects, they were rejected for slaughter at the Mexico border. 
While the majority of Rejects are discarded and left to die, there are those, such as the ones in this trailer, that are hauled back to the Kill Pens to be "recycled".  Documentation revels Rejects have been known to be hauled to the slaughter export holding pens numerous times before they eventually cross the border to be slaughtered!   

Thundering Hooves is proud to announce 'Priceless" will join us at the Santa Fe Indian Market, Santa Fe, NM August 17th & 18th. 

We will be set-up on Washington Street on Saturday & Sunday from 9am to 5pm with RED TIES available for you to sign and lend your VOICE for the Rejects!
 
The RED TIES will be added to the Thundering Hooves Memorial Fence in memory of the Rejects and all the slaughter bound horses hauled down this highway on THEIR LAST RIDE!

The Safeguard American Food Exports (SAFE) Act (H.R. 961/S. 2006) is federal legislation that would prevent the horse slaughter industry from re-establishing operations in the U.S. and prohibit the export of American horses for slaughter.
