EVENTS

Thundering Hooves is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in Texas, with full-time staff working in the United States. Thundering Hooves events are an invitation to celebrate and honor the horses. Our presentations and participant activities are especially tailored to each location or event with focus on creating a more humane world for all equine through the universal language of art.

We work closely with schools and diverse communities in developing children art programs and celebrations of the arts events.  To educate on the proper care of animals we invite veterinarians as well as experienced trainers and handlers to participate in our educational events. We also partner with animal welfare investigators to educate participants on how to recognize inhuman treatment of horses and who to contact in the event abuse is witnessed.  Thundering Hooves offers educational materials which are provided, free of charge, to all participants of events.

All aspects of rescuing horses to include their aftercare and how to adopt a rescued horse play an important role in Thundering Hoovs events.  Whenever possible we bring in rescued horses and set-up areas where people of all ages can interact directly with a horse. Nothing connects people to the spirit of the horse like actually being able to touch one.

Creating platforms for the ARTS as Music, song and dance are the hub of universal language. Inviting performing artists to be a part of any event creates an exciting celebratory platform that engages audiences to follow along in song and dance honoring the horse. Our featured artists travel great distances to join us for these special events.
