DRUM WORKSHOP
The drumbeat represents the heartbeat of Mother Earth, where our ancestors walked and honored the horse. During the 2012 event Thundering Hooves presented a special opportunity to learn to make a drum the traditional way from a master drum maker of 40 + years, Mark Donehogawa Barfoot. After the drums were completed they were awakened and Mark shared his Wolf Clan Medicine Wheel teachings, passed down for centuries.
