The horses in the trailer were rejected for slaughter at the Mexico border.
While the majority of Rejects are discarded and left to die, there are those such as the ones in this trailer,
that are hauled back to the Kill Pens to be
"recycled".
The recycled rejects have been known to be hauled to slaughter export holding pens numerous times
before they are eventually hauled across US borders into Mexico & Canada to slaughter.

HOW TO HELP THE HORSES

H.R.1661 - SAFE Act of 2025 is federal legislation that will stop the export of American horses across US borders to slaughter.
"This bill permanently prohibits the slaughter of equines (e.g., horses and mules) for human consumption. (Current law prohibits the slaughter of dogs and cats for human consumption. This bill extends the prohibition to equines.)"
